for the rapid, qualitative detection of COC and primarily benzoylecgonine as metabolites in urine. The cutoff of the test is 300 ng/ml of COC. It is the same as the SAMHSA
recommended cutoff.
The COC cocaine test provides only a preliminary analytical result. A more specific alternative chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas chromatography, mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred method.
